Description

White is far from a mere absence, it is a universe of endless potential.
It is matter and imagination, the space where light takes shape.

In this exhibition, white is not just a beginning, it is a dimension to be explored, a language transformed into emotion. Through oil and acrylic paintings, each shade tells a story between visible and invisible, between reality and dream.

Delicate brushstrokes and bold gestures shape the light itself, making it the true protagonist of a visual narrative suspended between the tangible and the surreal.

The journey begins with works immersed in the infinite gradations of black and white, then gradually unfolds into vibrant chromatic expressions: fairytale reinterpretations, archetypal symbols, and ambiguous figures come alive in color, unlocking new ways to re-read both classical and modern fables.

But color here is not mere decoration, it is revelation, a threshold.
Each artwork is a door opening onto an imaginative realm where visual memory blends with contemporary dreamscapes.

Most of the paintings are created on canvas or masonite, many of them rooted in the artist’s Urban Sketches, quick studies drawn live in city streets or museums, now reborn as richly atmospheric compositions.

Alongside this main body of work is a special guest series: “Primates.”
These totemic figures emerge from white backgrounds, ignited, with near-ritual subtlety, by a single point of color: an intense red dot on the “third eye.”
This minimal yet powerful gesture evokes Indian iconography and seals the bond between instinct and transcendence. Silent sentinels, the Primates accompany the viewer through this journey between matter and spirit.

Completing the exhibition is a section dedicated to the Bestiary, but not just animals, a collection of illustrated works on genuine antique paper. These pieces summon imaginary beasts, chimeras, symbolic animals, hybrid spirits as if conjured from a forgotten alphabet. Time and surface blend together, evoking the feeling of leafing through a lost book, where every image guards a mystery.

All artworks are one-of-a-kind, signed on the back and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, silent witnesses to a unique artistic gesture.
