Boccacciǝ
Boccaccia – Original Painting of a Young Chimpanzee
Boccaccia is a playful and tender painting of a young chimpanzee wearing glasses, captured while pulling a cheeky face at the viewer. A light-hearted and human gesture, full of irony and charm, that immediately sparks a smile.Just like in The Anarchist, the figure is wrapped in white crystals or gauze, as if to restrain this fleeting expression of humanity. Yet, our little hero breaks through, offering a moment of pure, joyful resistance.
👉 A painting where humour meets poetry, perfect for collectors of visionary and expressive art.
About Primate Collection
An expressive bestiary of apes, instincts, and symbols.
This is dedicated to all those people are good looking and funny and a big sense of humor😜🤣. As a wildlife and urban sketcher artist, I’ve always been fascinated by the expressions of animals. This original painting is part of my Primate Collection, a series of black and white acrylic portraits that explore the emotional depth and symbolic resonance of apes and monkeys.
Inspired by an encounter in the dense jungle, I set out to capture not just the likeness of these magnificent creatures, but their essence. In the stark contrast of black and white, each face becomes a mirror: expressive, introspective, almost human. The eyes hold stories. The features, raw emotion. These portraits challenge the viewer to see beyond species, to feel a connection that transcends the boundary between human and animal.
Every piece is unique, painted by hand, and comes signed on the back with a certificate of authenticity. This artwork is not only a tribute to the primal, instinctual world of our cousins, but a call to empathy, reminding us of our shared origins.
