  • Post‑Robot‑Land – A Sardonic Glimpse into a Robotic Tomorrow

Imagine a future metropolis: no humans, just robots roaming in a dusty, sun-bleached landscape. In Post‑Robot‑Land, abandoned skyscrapers lean, sand creeps into mechanical joints, and a few toy-like automatons explore their silent birthplace, curious, nostalgic, ironic spectators of our former world.

This piece plays with the tension between dystopia and whimsy. The era of silicon rulers and digital overseers is portrayed not as fearful, but droll: robots living in the residue of human ambition, shrugging at the absurdity of it all.

And here’s the image — only one piece left — a large, half-buried figure behind a house still standing, as if preserving the last semblance of a long-extinct humanity. A giant Bender straight out of the Futurama imagination!

Part of the Urbanimal Collection, this original, signed artwork uses surreal irony to spark reflection: what if our utopias become playgrounds for our own creations? It’s a caution wrapped in a smile, a future imagined by the same hands that built the past.

    💫 2. Emotional Impact

    This ironic tableau may evoke:

    • A mix of amusement and unease — tech comedy with existential aftertaste

    • Reflection on obsolescence and unintended legacies

    • Warm laughter at mechanical wanderers with human-like absurdity

    • Quiet wonder at who (or what) inherits our civilizations

🎁 3. Who Is It For? (Gift Suggestions)

💡 4. Why Invest in Original Art?

An original piece like this delivers:

    • A handcrafted, certified artwork that’s one-of-a-kind

    • A playful yet profound commentary on our technological ambitions

    • A timeless object that gains meaning as real worlds evolve

    • Support for independent artists playing at the boundary between myth and satire

🧭 5. Introduction to the Urbanimal Collection

Urbanimal explores the poetic collision between urbanity and the wild—whether furred beasts, feathered guardians, or silicon dreamers. Post‑Robot‑Land stands as the rogue sibling: a robotic fable where the city isn’t reclaimed by nature but inhabited by its own creations. It teases us to imagine futures beyond apocalypse — where our machines survey our ghosts with amused detachment.

Urbanimal is my way of saying that nature doesn’t disappear, it adapts, resists, and reappears through new forms. And this piece is one of them.

This series symbolically and surreally explores the cohabitation of animals with an urban landscape. Here the ecological approach that distinguishes human/nature relationship is central by inviting us to perceive the earth as a living entity, as a large garden in which all the ignored fragments of the landscape offer us opportunities for regeneration. This was inspired by Gilles Clément's concept of "Third Landscape." All works are signed and certified.
