“Martin the Violinist” is a heartfelt tribute to my beloved cat Martin, a white Siamese who shared part of my life and inspired one of its most profound changes.
After his passing, I embarked on a journey that transformed me, and this artwork helped me process that loss. Art can heal, and this piece, in particular, became a way for me to honor him, and to better appreciate what life offers us: a gentle music that, even when it ends, leaves behind a silence just as beautiful.I imagine Martin, serene and unbothered, playing the violin on a cloud while birds flutter by unnoticed, just as in life, when they came right up to him and he couldn't care less.
