CityCat – A Flowered Feline Above the Metropolis
CityCat is not just a surreal composition, it’s a memory turned monument. A majestic Main Coon, half-flesh, half-flowers, gently towers over an anonymous city. Her size is impossible, her gaze serene, and her body blooms as if grief and beauty had merged into the same gesture.
She is everywhere, and nowhere in particular, because cats are like that. They own no one, yet they live in us long after they're gone.
The feline in the drawing is Eden, the artist’s beloved companion, who passed away from cancer. Her absence was so immense that it triggered six years of nomadic movement. CityCat is the image that remained still, while everything else shifted. A totem of emotional gravity.
Part of the Urbanimal Collection, this artwork blends architectural realism with symbolic affection. Signed and certified, CityCat is a surreal ode to quiet presence, deep loss, and the small gods that sleep on our windowsills.

🧭 5. Introduction to the Urbanimal Collection
Urbanimal is a series of surreal artworks that blend wild animals with urban environments, creating symbolic spaces of coexistence. Each piece carries a quiet narrative, where the animal is not intruding, it is returning. Whether monumental or delicate, these creatures reshape the cityscape with their presence, inviting us to imagine a more poetic balance between instinct and industry, fur and façade.
Urbanimal is my way of saying that nature doesn’t disappear, it adapts, resists, and reappears through new forms. And this piece is one of them.
This series symbolically and surreally explores the cohabitation of animals with an urban landscape. Here the ecological approach that distinguishes human/nature relationship is central by inviting us to perceive the earth as a living entity, as a large garden in which all the ignored fragments of the landscape offer us opportunities for regeneration. This was inspired by Gilles Clément's concept of "Third Landscape." All works are signed and certified.
