"The sin of heroes", 2014

Through interaction with six super-heroes Michele Di Erre, turin artist born in 1979, he interpreted the capital vices, which are the expression of the main desires from which all sins originate.

The Sins can be distinguished according to their object, as can every human act, or according to the virtues they oppose, by excess or defect. Or be linked to the capital sins which Christian experience has distinguished himself in pride, avarice, envy, wrath, lust, gluttony and sloth. They are called capital because they engender other sins, other vices.

In the confrontation between good and evil, between super-hero and vice, the contemporary vision of Di Erre finds its most intrinsic definition. Every sin is dissected, observed, fixed, and remembered especially associated with its antithesis: the super-hero. It is fixed in the memory of the beholder, in a deaf dialogue between good and evil that has no winners or losers.

Di Erre has created a work for each of the seven topics. Seven paintings in their being part of creating the whole.

 

Made of oil and pure amber, the paintings are the result of a study, which began three years ago, the technique of outlying drawing.

This way you draw, which explores the subject in its whole structure, observed as if you were drawing with your eyes, forcing her hand to trace the image perceived no direct relationship with reality. The work is the result of the perception of emotional, liberated from the cognitive filter of the interpretation of reality. A reality which regains at a later stage, rebuilding itself from the fragments of the vibration of the soul of the artist.

 

As the main antagonists in the manga and anime11eyesi, called Knights Blacks, representing six of the seven deadly sins, and the vice principal is represented by the antagonist final missing, even in the work of Di Erre a defect remains blank, or perhaps revealed by the deep chasm black, who becomes the antagonist of the sought after color scheme present in the other paintings.
